Do You Consider Yourself Safe?

You can find many incidents related with crime. About which police do not take care or you can say that people won’t report at police station, thinking that nothing would happen. I think that this is also one of the major problems of cities which could not be finished ever. Crime has no end; it is increasing in every moment. Its area is spreading day by day. Here in this article I want to share one more incident with you like I shared before.

One 27-28 year old man, well I don’t know him properly. He lives in a colony which is little bit distant of my colony. I heard this incident by one aunt, who was discussing this incident with my mom one day. The incident is something like this.

The man was returning from his office late at night. One bridge comes in that way. That bridge becomes lonely planet at night. He was coming from that way, usually he passes sometimes from that way but not too late in the night but that time he was late to return of the office. At around 10 pm when he was passing from that bridge a deep silence was chasing him, suddenly he noticed that some shadow is coming near to him from back. He turned back and saw 4-5 men are standing behind him. Suddenly they took out their knives and pointed towards him. They forcibly snatched his briefcase from his hands and took out all the money from him. He requested to take out all things except the bag, because the bag had some important documents. He requested to return the sim also because some very important numbers were in that sim, he said even that to keep the mobile, just return the sim. But they denied and attacked on him with knife.

That man protected himself from their knives and while protecting to self, he held one of their knives with his own hand from the front side. The hand began to bleed and then one of them hit him on head and pushed him back and ran away. He reached to the home first from there and then took medical treatment.

Beware - Next Could Be Your Turn

Do you think that big cities are safe? No. Though the police vans are available for 24 hours, they are wandering in every alley, every street and in every locality, day and night. But in spite of this security snatching or shorn force and Bloodshed is not getting stop. Many people know that some particular area is not safe at night, but what about the strangers? How would they know about that place?

Is this sentence not coming in your mind that police should tight their security in those type of areas?  Yes I know your answer but no they do not take care about that. That’s the only problem. If you ever indulge in an incident then no one would be there to help you out.

In this article I want to share with you one incident related with this.It was dark night when my father was returning from his office. He got off from a train on the platform late at night. No one was there on platform at that time. He was walking through the platform and hardly after coming out of the platform towards the street, suddenly four or five teenage boys grabbed him by his hands.

They took out their knives and pointed towards him and ordered to take out everything, whatever he has. Before handed everything to them, they forcefully took out the watch from his hands, mobile and wallet from his pocket.  They did not even left my father simply, one of them attacked on him with knife and when my father held his hands to protect himself from his knife.
They punched my father on nose, pushed him and escaped. With great difficulty my father reached home.

He thought to go to the police but he knew very well that nothing will happen; there is no benefit to go to the police. So he took only first-aid and went for a sleep.

You Are Not Safe Even Though The Law Is Quite Aware

If we say something about law in this country then the authorities would say that we are quite attentive and conscious to erase the crime. But even today in our country, in major cities, in every corner of these major cities small crimes are leading. Which they do not know or even if they get to know about this they do not take pain to take any action about it. That’s why most of the people even today do not think themselves secure in their cities. The shelter of security is only for rich people and not for middle class people. Some people say that somewhere law authorities are responsible to give a growth to these small crimes. A little part of the department are involved with these criminal groups, they get the commissions from them. And at last who suffers from this “We”. If keepers of the law would take involvement in crime, would promote crime. Then where would the middle class people go, to whom they would go?

I want to share here with you my own incident.
I was suffering by an overcrowded bus, that day I was too late to leave from the office. In despair I had to boarded in an overcrowded bus. I was getting crushed in that crowd; there were no  space to move the hands even. Usually I did keep my mobile in my jeans pocket, that day was also the same. The bus was simply going to some distance but suddenly when the bus stopped at that stoppage, a large rural looking group boarded in that bus and started scuffling.

Half part of that group was pushing from the front in the crowd and half part was pushing from the back, I was also the victim of that thing. After sometime when the scuffling stopped, suddenly I checked my pocket and found that I have lost my mobile. I shocked and did not understand at that moment what to do. I tried to track the snatcher but failed. I jumped from the bus when the bus was going a little bit slow. But no one was there; it was totally silence and intense dark.

I first went to the home and then I got my mobile number off by calling to customer care. After that I went to the police station where they said that the area is not comes in our under, go to the other police station. I went to the other police station and they said the same but at the behest of the other officer to take any action about it. Then they began to make inquiries. Their questions were:  Are you sure that your mobile has been stolen? May be it has fallen from your pocket. I said I am sure that it has been stolen by someone. They were not ready to enter my FIR, they refused. After that I went with my father to the police station. Only after saying much of my father they entered the FIR. At the last I found that we did not get any benefit doing FIR.
